Ireesha is an up and coming artist from the Ukraine I met last year. She likes to infuse her love of dance, rhythmic gymnastics and music into one package. After directing the video for her single “Tochka.Love” we joined again this year for a pair of videos supporting her single “We Make The World GO!”
Ireesha asked me to take this (electro mix) featuring DJ Schedule 1 and make a “crazy super hyper fun clip” using tons of unused footage from our original version.
Using tons of footage from the LA shoot and mixing footage from Kiev sums up this hyper fun remix clip.
Ireesha and I filmed this video all around Los Angeles earlier this year. We shot on Hollywood Blvd with a vintage car, surfed in Malibu and had a magical sunset up in the canyons. Night scenes were shot in Mel’s Diner in West Hollywood. We finished the day with a slumber party down at the hotel in Culver City.
I met Ireesha in NYC recently through a friend of Res.
Ireesha wanted a video shot for her song “Tochka.Love” that was different from what she’s done in the past. Being a dancer she wanted to incorporate that in her own unique way. We shot in Riverside and Central Park and other locations in New York City and finished the video in Kiev. We went for a feel and look similar to what you would see in the early days of MTV.
Check out Ireesha on a talk show discussing the video
